Famous Pacific Shipping (HK) ("FPS") has made use of the DTTN-Enabled solution Pro 2 software developed by independent software vendor ACME Systems Limited ("ACME") to connect their internal system to DTTN. According to two Hong Kong Directors of FPS, Patrick C.S. Lau and Edmond T.W. Tong, DTTN can accelerate the entire working process.
Edmond Tong said, "Business processes are increasingly being automated. This trend will soon become a standard practice, as it can greatly reduce costs. Moreover the existence of electronic platforms like DTTN means that facilitate companies' business and trade activities with overseas clients in places like Singapore, Europe and the US." He further points out that the increase popularity of e-commerce in recent years has accelerated the trend towards environmental protection; indeed, many business offices have already become "paperless". He believes that electronic platforms will become more and more popular.
